On May 29th, 1976, Eddie Scott & Amela Givens stood before God and entered a covenant of love. A love that has shaped not only their lives, but the lives of so many connected throughout the years. Through every season, their Love has been anchored in faith and strengthened by their commitment to God and the sanctity of their vows. Eddie & Amela’s marriage has been an example of what scripture means when it says, “Love is patient, love is kind… It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4, 7–8).
On May 30th, 2026, help us celebrate 50 years of love with friends and family. Over 50 years, their union has been an example of what it means to build a life together with God at the center. Happy Golden Anniversary! Let’s celebrate what God has kept together!
